About Begmoney

A free noticeboard for people who need help — run by one person, on purpose.

Begmoney.com exists because asking for help online usually comes with a catch. Fundraising platforms take a percentage of what donors give. Some sites charge to post at all, or quietly upsell people who are already struggling. We wanted the opposite: a plain, honest noticeboard where sharing your story is free and every dirham, dollar, or peso a donor sends goes to the person — not to us.

The no-cut promise

Begmoney never touches donations. There is no platform wallet, no payout schedule, no processing fee, because money never passes through the site at all. Each poster publishes their own payment details — a PayPal.me link, GCash, bank details, whatever works in their country — and donors send help directly to them. 100% of every donation belongs to the person who receives it.

How the site supports itself

The site's only income is the optional featured spot: for AED 10 (about US$3), a story is pinned to the front page for a month so more visitors see it. That small fee pays for hosting and the time it takes to run the site. Posting is free and always will be — the featured spot is purely optional extra visibility, and it never guarantees donations. Nothing does, and we say so plainly.

How review works

A real person reads every submission before it goes live. Obvious scams are refused, stories are lightly tidied for typos only — never rewritten — and payment details are published exactly as the poster provided them. We are honest about the limits of this: no platform of this kind can fully verify every detail of every story, whatever others claim. That is why the site asks donors to give the way they would give a personal gift — from the heart, in amounts they are comfortable with — and why the Stay safe section sits on the front page.

Who runs it

Begmoney is run by one person — an office professional in the UAE who reads every submission personally, answers the contact form personally, and built the site to stay small, honest, and useful. It is a noticeboard, not a charity or a company with a support department, which is exactly why it can afford to take nothing from donations.
